Second step, the Mercosur Bienniale, Porto Alegre, Brazil: Following the invitation of Camilo Yanez to participate in the Biennale and reactivate the project, I decided to work with communities on collective needs or desires. Three projects were developped in this context : 1- The children from a school located one hour from Porto Alegre have decided to make a mini bus in order to be able to do activities outside of the village. 2- Teenagers from a suburb district have built musical instruments and sports equipment. 3- A group of people occupying a building in the city center have decided to work on a politically engaged mural on the entire facade of their building. To do this, they have built a model representing the project (shown in the Biennale) and they have made in wood the materials required for the project. The Museum Lima Peru, MALI, has swapped all the objects presented to the Mercosur Biennial.
